Of course bitterness and resentment are hallmarks of the current political climate. Perhaps this is a consequence of the current fashion for being either a victim or an oppressor - and even both at the same time. But I don't understand the point about elections. Is it bad manners to contest the outcome or just politically injudicious? The evidence that recent elections have been interfered with, rigged, fixed - choose your term, is overwhelming. How is suppression of the evidence helpful? One is reminded of the boy and the emperor's nudity. Of course, by calling it out, the boy compromised the dignity of the head of state. In so doing he threatened it's very foundations. One assumes he was forever ostracized - just as those who question election results are now castigated. The repetition of lies, and suppression of truth by the mainstream media has already compromised the integrity of the election process. If the public, and the remaining honest politicians, are to be pressured into silence over obvious election fraud - we are well on the way to a one party dictatorship.
