It's not difficult to identify the source of the GOP's disastrous malaise. They are the victims of a disease one might term "establishmentitis" (my spell check doesn't like that word). The party has become part of the problem rather than the solution. They may see themselves as rescue craft in the swamp, but they are well and truly implicated in the sewer of corruption which is Washington. Where are the responsible and serious folk who used to go into politics as Republicans? Replaced by children throwing their toys out of the crib like the dreadful Matt Gaetz. Stand by for a Democratic sweep in 2024 and look out for exchange control.
