This is a quite brilliant statistical analysis - and the conclusions are wise. But! and its a big 'but'. The reality is that the Democrats now control all the institutions of State and all the key elements of the private sector - in particular the media. There is no precedent for an opposition achieving electoral victory over an entrenched establishment with out reasonable access to the media to gainsay the narrative of the party in power. Furthermore the electoral process is hopeless compromised by the decline of in person voting in favour of absentee ballots and well post election counting. Unfashionable as it is now is to say it (and I am safe from FBI arrest here in South Africa) - it has been and will continue to be A FIX!
