Obama cynically and skillfully played the race card as well as Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. Despite his rhetoric and soothing tone, there was almost no social issue that he chose to deviate from the accepted “wisdom” of the far left.
What made it really made it a shame was a) he campaigned in being the President of all of us, someone who could heal old grievances and unite the country. Instead he was/is a smug, shameless demagogue who has done more to hurt black America than any (mostly illusory) white supremicists.
