Leave aside the historic error of the Zionists in locating a Jewish State in an area where it would be permanently surrounded by enemies, the ultimate geo political reality is numbers. Israel's survival so far has depended on the split in the Muslim world between Sunni and Shiite on the one hand, and US support on the other. But due to inept foreign policies by the Western powers, the Muslim world is uniting - and the US is no longer a world power. Then just look at the numbers. We (the West) are going to loose the one representative of our values in the region. The final elimination of Israel will be, ironically perhaps, just another chapter in the decline of Western civilization as we have known it.
