I'm afraid the pathetic detestation of Trump is the one factor - with its complex ramifications, that will hand victory to whichever Democratic candidate eventually runs. There can be no unity in the opposition party as long as its leading figures continue to hold this childish grudge against a President whose accomplishments more than outweighed his vulgarity. For goodness' sake, Republicans grow up! It is THS that has kept the former president in the limelight, and intensified Democratic persecution, thus creating a political martyrdom which, ironically, plays straight into the hands of the Democrats.
