We hope policies will determine the election result. But evidence is scant. Look at the split: 52/48 (my averages). The 52 will vote Trump because they are affected by the disastrous Biden policies and believe Trump can change them. The 48 - treading on the heels of the margin of error of the 52, are not affected, or don't know they are. Who are they? Trump haters - mostly rich. DEI corporate execs, swamp members, Hollywood, Silicon valley - ditto. Inflation? For them - pocket change. More difficult to understand are welfare beneficiaries. They don't know welfare has not kept pace with inflation, but the Dems will fix that. Then the starry eyed, do gooders, and social reformers who cheer when the White House celebrates trans genders on Easter Sunday. They are policy voters - but not necessarily our policies. Finally, the big fix. No policy issues there.
