All very well - but Trump got more votes the second time than the first and would have won if it had not been for cleverly harvested absentee ballots kept for last minute introduction. Of course establishment Republicans hate him, but he has a base of popular support, and many people think establishment politicians are the problem - not the solution. They can certainly avoid Trump's re-nomination but it may leave behind a disgruntled minority who will be a swing vote by their absence. I predict a Biden victory (plenty of medicines to keep him on his feet in front of the teleprompter) Stand by for one party rule. Even after the worse presidency in modern history, Biden still has 41% support.
